I led the development and execution of a scalable tutorial video library to support the launch of the company's revamped flagship SaaS platform. The primary objective was to enhance user onboarding and drive feature adoption by delivering concise, accessible video content tailored to the new interface and workflows. Additionally, I established a sustainable production framework that enabled ongoing video updates in sync with the platform's release cycle.
Challenge
The platform redesign brought significant changes across many features, creating an urgent need for clear user guidance at launch. However, no methodology, tooling, or standardized process existed for producing tutorial videos at scale. The key challenge was to deliver high-quality, consistent content rapidly while coordinating multiple stakeholders—including Product, Marketing, Support, and technical teams—and ensuring ongoing maintainability as the platform evolved.
Solution
To achieve speed, consistency, and long-term scalability, I implemented a comprehensive, end-to-end strategy:
Feature prioritization
Collaborated with Product Managers, Marketing, and Support teams to pinpoint and prioritize the most critical features needing video tutorials.
Script creation and validation workflow
Worked closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads to draft, review, and validate scripts, ensuring technical accuracy and consistent messaging.
Production acceleration
Leveraged AI text-to-speech tools to generate voiceovers rapidly, ensuring a uniform tone across all videos.
Standardized video templates
Developed Adobe Premiere Pro templates featuring brand-approved intro and outro sequences to ensure visual consistency and accelerate editing.
Centralized publishing, access, and maintainability
Published videos on YouTube and integrated them into a dedicated video library page on the corporate website. Oversaw the creation of this video library page and implemented permalinks, enabling frequent updates and contextual linking directly from the platform. This centralized approach ensured that all resources were easily accessible, up-to-date, and maintained in one location for both users and internal stakeholders.
Adoption and visibility
Increased discoverability by promoting the library in release notes and strategically linking it within the platform interface.
Result and Impact
The initiative resulted in a scalable video ecosystem supporting both launch readiness and continuous product evolution. Over 50 tutorial videos were produced, with new content regularly added in sync with each product release. In the first six months post-launch, traffic to the video library page increased by 300%, demonstrating strong user adoption and significant value as an onboarding and support resource.
